Conference Format
There will be a registration and an evening ice-breaker on Sunday, July 7th,
2002. The conference is scheduled to run from Monday morning July 8th
to Friday afternoon July 12th. There will be plenary sessions of oral
presentations on each day of the week in the mornings and afternoons up to 15h00
with the exception of Thursday July 11th that will consist of only
one morning session. Poster sessions will be
held on Monday through Wednesday from 15h00 to 19h00. The afternoon and evening
of Thursday July 11th will be devoted to a choice of excursions and
an evening banquet.
Oral presentations
Each contributed talk will last 13 minutes with an additional 2 minutes for
discussion.
A computer screen projector, facilities for electronic presentation from
a CD ROM, an overhead projector, a 35-mm slide projector, and a video projector
will be available.
Poster presentations
There will be three 4-hour poster sessions, namely Monday to Wednesday
from 15h00 to 19h00. Each author will be provided with a poster board (
width x height - 2.4 m x 1 m ) on which to display his or her figures. Authors must
remain in the vicinity of their presentation during the official poster
hours to answer questions from attendees. However, the room will be
available all day and the program committee encourages the authors to
set up their paper early in the day. To help publicize the poster
papers, the authors will be asked in the acceptation notice to submit
one or two MS Power Point slides that will be organized in a slide show
for projection in the main conference room during coffee breaks and
periods preceding and following oral sessions.
