The technical program of the conference will have Thursday afternoon free. The Organizing Committee proposes the following social activities to the registered attendees and their guests: 

1. Trained guides will be available to accompany the participants on a walking tour of the old city from a meeting point near the conference site to the embarkation peer for a short cruise on the St. Lawrence.

2. The M/V Louis Jolliet will depart at 16h00 for a 1.5-hour cruise on the St. Lawrence to view Québec and its surrounding attractions from the river. Participants who wish to skip the guided tour simply need to be at the embarkation peer at Quai Chouinard on Place Royale in time for departure at 16h00.

3. A banquet will follow the cruise in the Hotel Radisson Ball Room at 19h30. All participants and guests are welcome.
